Client Executive Austria (Graz)

Location: Graz and surrounding region
This role covers the southern commercial market segment of Austria (Styria, Carinthia, Burgenland).

Role Overview

As a Client Executive (CE), you will own and drive all sales activities within your territory to achieve your assigned quota. You will lead the coordination of all sales and pre‑sales roles across your named accounts, ensuring strong collaboration and consistent growth of NetApp’s footprint.
You act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, combining business acumen with technical understanding to maximize value and revenue in your region.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationship maps within accounts; expand the depth and quality of relationships with key buyers and influencers.
  • Develop strategic account plans and work closely with your assigned Account Technology Specialists to define long‑term product and solution strategies across NetApp’s portfolio.
  •  Lead and coordinate the full sales cycle, including pipeline generation, qualification, solution design, pricing, and quoting.
  •  Act as the sales orchestrator, bringing in the right experts at the right time.
  •  Collaborate closely and consistently with NetApp partners on customer engagements.
  •  Drive and lead partner co‑selling efforts within your named accounts.
  •  Support the development and onboarding of new partners within the regional ecosystem.
  •  Acquire new customers and expand existing accounts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, ideally within data center or infrastructure environments.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota and driving net‑new business.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain trusted customer and partner relationships.
  • A true hunter mindset, focused on expanding market opportunities and generating new business.
  • Confidence and persistence in proactive outreach and cold calling.
  • Strong understanding of customer business goals and the ability to articulate value clearly.
  • Ability to speak credibly about modern compute, storage, and cloud technologies.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • Willingness to travel within the region.
  • Fluent in German and English.
