Data Engineer
Job Summary
The NetApp Keystone team develops cutting-edge technologies that power NetApp’s pay-as-you-go subscription services, enabling customers to manage data seamlessly on-premises or in the cloud. As a software engineer in this organization, you will work on complex projects, breaking down challenging requirements into simple, scalable solutions while applying engineering best practices. This role offers the opportunity to tackle unsolved customer issues, influence feature improvements across engineering teams, learn storage as a subscription service, and collaborate with peers to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in Data Engineering and Software Engineering
- Expert in data engineering with knowledge in Oracle, Postgres
- Should have knowledge on ETL tools and version Tools like GIT, Github & Gitlab
- Need work experience in building real-time datalake. Should be skilled in Data modeling , Big Data technologies, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Bigquery, AWS
- Coding/Scripting in Python is recommended
- Cloud Technologies: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Should be Familiar with bug tracking tools like JIRA
- Build and maintain data lakes and proficient in ETL jobs
- Well versed with Data Modelling & Data Migration
- Collaborate with external and internal teams to troubleshoot performance and functional issues
- Work with DevOps engineers to integrate new code into existing continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery/deployment (CD) pipelines
- Deliver industry-leading results on time with minimal supervision
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5-8 years of professional experience in software development.
