Job Summary
The AI Product team within NetApp’s Cloud Storage & Services division is responsible for building industry-leading products that power enterprise data and AI workloads. Our mission includes delivering cloud storage services, integrating NetApp storage with hyperscaler AI/ML platforms, and developing AI-native services that support the data and AI needs of Fortune 500 customers across hybrid and public cloud environments.
We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to help define and deliver the next generation of generative and agentic AI services. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of NetApp’s AI-powered agentic platform. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data science, UX, go-to-market, and customer-facing teams to deliver scalable, secure, and customer-centric AI solutions built on NetApp’s data infrastructure.

Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Define and articulate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered features and services, aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- Own the full product lifecycle—from ideation and requirements definition through development, pricing, launch, iteration, and growth.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and resilient cloud-based AI services.
- Develop and manage a transparent, prioritized product backlog; author PRFAQs, product requirements documents, and detailed user stories.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product and feature success; leverage data and customer insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current with AI and industry trends, particularly in agentic AI, large language models, and enterprise AI platforms.
- Communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes to executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Support customer onboarding, adoption, and value realization in collaboration with Go-To-Market and Customer Success teams.
Required Qualifications
- 12–15 years of experience in product management or a related technical role, preferably within a SaaS, cloud services, or enterprise software company.
- Proven experience building and launching generative AI–powered products or services.
- Strong understanding of AI and ML concepts, and hands on experience building products with:
- Agentic systems and frameworks
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- LLM orchestration, fine-tuning, and evaluation
- Reinforcement learning concepts
- Data pipelines (ETL/ELT), search indexing, vector databases, and knowledge graphs
- Demonstrated experience defining product roadmaps, authoring product requirements, and launching cloud services at scale.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs and translate business needs into clear product requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, leadership, and customer-facing teams.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Systems.
- MBA or master’s degree strongly preferred.
