Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of our SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in SAP Basis administration, architecture, and operations, with a proven track record of delivering complex SAP projects in large-scale enterprise environments.

Job Requirements

Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure SAP landscapes (SAP CRM, PI/PO, SAP Gateway, Solution Manager, etc.) across onpremise, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Develop and maintain SAP technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.

Evaluate and recommend new SAP technologies, tools, and best practices.

Lead SAP system installations, upgrades, Datacenter migrations, and landscape transformations. 

  • Must have experience with migrations and integration with third-party systems.
  • Administration & Operations:  
  • Manage SAP system performance, capacity planning, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for SAP environments.
  • Oversee transport management, user administration, and security configuration. 
  •  Ensure compliance with SAP licensing, audit requirements, and IT security policies.
  •  Implement and monitor SAP system health checks, patching, and vulnerability management.
  •  Provide technical leadership and mentorship to SAP Basis teams.
  •  Collaborate with functional, development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver end-to-end SAP solutions.
  •  Act as a subject matter expert in SAP Basis for project teams and stakeholders.
  •  Deep expertise in SAP NetWeaver, HANA, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and related SAP components.
  •  Strong experience with SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, and system copies.
  •  Proficient in SAP on-premise and cloud deployments.
  •  Solid understanding of SAP security, authorisation concepts, and compliance requirements.
  •  Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions for SAP.
  •  Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  •  Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
  •  Experience with SAP HANA database administration and optimisation.
  •  Knowledge of DevOps, automation tools (Ansible, Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines for SAP.
  •  Experience with SAP CRM and integration with third party applications.
  •  Experience in managing largescale SAP projects and global SAP landscapes.

Education

IC - Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
