Job Summary

NetApp is pioneering the development of StorageGRID object storage – AWS cloud compatible software powering the exponential growth in AI data lakes. As a Senior Engineering Manager, you be leading a team of highly talented and high performing individuals who will be working across various StorageGRID modules like Manageability, API’s, Security, Various backend modules, and various integration projects like AutoSupport, NetApp Console etc. You will also be the site lead for StorageGRID NetApp Bangalore and represent StorageGRID in India from Engineering point of view"

Job Requirements

  • A track record of "followership" - people want to work for and with you.
  • Experience leading teams through the full software development life cycle including managing cross functional project teams (Dev, QA and Automation).
  • Proven track record of hiring, growing and nurturing cohesive, high performing development teams.
  • Experience building manageability related applications.
  • Ability to work with external partners, cross functional teams and internal partners.
  • 5+ years personal hands-on software development experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience managing and leading teams developing enterprise products in a high-growth, fast-paced system software engineering company.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with object storage or cloud-based infrastructure and platform services.
  • Development experience working with Web Technologies like, Angular and/or Python.
  • Knowledge of common web services protocol (HTTPS/JSON/REST).
  • Experience with Agile frameworks like Scrum, Scrum of Scrums and experience with CI/CD.

Education

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or a master’s degree; or equivalent experience is required.
