Senior Software Engineer Manager
Job Summary
The Senior Manager of Marketplace Core will lead a high-performing engineering team to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions that accelerate NetApp revenue through cloud based marketplace go to market. This role demands deep expertise in cloud platforms, estaliblished marketplace best practices, including product leg growth. The manager will drive technical strategy, ensure alignment with business goals, and foster innovation across global teams while maintaining high standards of scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Lead the technical vision and strategy. Ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the end-to-end development, deployment, and operation. Ensure security, availability, operations, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering leadership, data science, and operations to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Stay current and foster adoption of advancements in marketplace engineering, including generative and agentic AI and cloud technologies.
- Mentor, hire, and grow a global development services team. Foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation
Job Requirements
- Proven ability to define and execute technical vision aligned with business objectives.
- Experience mentoring, hiring, and growing global development teams.
- Skilled in managing risks, identifying bottlenecks, and resolving technical challenges.
- Experience in ensuring security, scalability, and performance of deployed services.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product, data science, engineering, and operations teams.
- Strong understanding of hyper-scale cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Track record of delivering complex solutions for enterprise customers.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience leading fast-paced engineering/product teams.
- 5+ years in developing and operating SaaS products in cloud environments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
