Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow professional with deep expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing CMDB and Discovery solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments, while contributing to automation, integrations, and overall platform excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Design, implement, and maintain advanced ITOM solutions, including CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping, aligned with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
  • Lead CMDB data model design, CI class customization, relationship mapping, identification rules, and lifecycle governance to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Architect and optimize ServiceNow Discovery across cloud and on‑prem environments, including horizontal discovery, network discovery, and service discovery, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Demonstrate strong foundational knowledge of infrastructure technologies including servers, operating systems, virtualization, networks, databases, cloud platforms, and application architectures to support effective discovery configuration.
  • Configure and manage MID Server architecture, Discovery schedules, credentials, IP ranges, probes, sensors, and patterns for complex enterprise environments.
  • Monitor, analyze, and remediate CMDB health issues using CMDB dashboards, health indicators, and KPIs focused on completeness, correctness, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain advanced ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer) following best practices and performance standards.
  • Design and customize Service Portal pages and widgets, ensuring intuitive user experience, responsiveness, and reusability.
  • Build and support integrations using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and custom APIs with monitoring, cloud, and infrastructure management tools.
  • Exhibit strong communication and analytical skills by troubleshooting complex platform issues, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and clearly articulating technical solutions and recommendations.

Education

Minimum of 8 years of related experience

Primary Skillset: Advanced ITOM (CMDB, Discovery) + Advanced Platform Scripting

Secondary Skillset: Service Portal, Integrations
