We work closely with upstream communities to provide code and leadership in defining the persistent storage strategy in these areas.

Job Requirements
The NetApp Trident team seeks a skilled software engineer to join a high-performing group. The role involves designing and implementing key features for containerized storage solutions, driving innovation, contributing to open-source projects, learning new skills, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
• 10+ years programming experience, including at least 3 years in Go.
• Background in Kubernetes and/or Cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) and ability to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Linux or Unix-like OS and network troubleshooting.
• Skilled with GitHub, Jenkins, CI build systems, and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Solid grasp of data structures, software engineering concepts, and best coding practices.
• Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Education
- Typically requires a minimum of 4 - 8 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Experience with Python (or other high-level languages).
- Experience working in open-source communities.
- Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.
