In this role, you will design and implement user experiences that integrate NetApp’s products with all major cloud marketplaces, like Azure, AWS, andGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP). You’ll work across the stack (front-end and back-end) to build modern features that accelerate time-to-value for customers, enabling them to quickly deploy and benefit from NetApp solutions on their cloud platform of choice. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud integration projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and directly impact customer adoption and satisfaction across multiple cloud environments.

Job Responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Design and deliver complex cloud-native applications that meet performance, scale, and reliability requirements.
  • Strong skills in front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks or libraries such as React or Angular, including building responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
  • Solid programming experience in server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Golang or RUST). Proven ability to develop RESTful APIs or microservices, work with web frameworks, and integrate with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
  • Collaborate closely with team members to integrate systems and ensure high-quality deliverables for customer success.
  • Build modern CI/CD infrastructure that reliably supports several hundred developers working on interconnected software deployment pipelines.
  • Actively mentor and groom new hires and other team members to build a strong and cohesive team.
  • Work as part of a larger team, collaborating closely with team members and leadership to ensure overall team objectives are met as ONE team. Your partnership with other team members will be crucial to the success of all customer deliverables.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Direct experience integrating or publishing software on cloud marketplaces (Azure, AWS or GCP) is a plus. Familiarity with the specific processes, APIs, or developer portals of these marketplaces can help you ramp up quickly.
  • Knowledge of enterprise storage, data management, or cloud infrastructure solutions. Experience with NetApp products or similar technologies is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience with containerization and deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Understanding of security best practices in web and cloud development, including authentication/authorization (OAuth, SSO), encryption, and compliance standards. Ability to incorporate security considerations into the development lifecycle of marketplace features.

Job Requirements

  • 12+ years of industry experience in software development.
  • 7+ years of experience in data management systems and storage platforms for managing and storing data across various workloads and environments.
  • 7+ years of expert-level hands-on experience in fault-tolerant, highly scalable cloud architectures, including service-oriented architectures, cloud-native (FAAS, PAAS), and cloud storage services with at least one hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, GCP).

All internal movements within the Product Group via requisition will be lateral, offering valuable growth opportunities to extend your skills in a new area. Opportunities for a promotion will be reviewed in the normal course of business, aligned with our promotion process.
