Job Summary

QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience in Salesforce testing (manual + automation), responsible for ensuring high-quality releases through robust test design, execution, and automation. The role combines strong functional expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud with modern automation practices and AI-assisted testing to improve speed, coverage, and defect detection. Works closely with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of QA experience with strong focus on Salesforce testing (Sales Cloud)
  • Hands-on experience in manual + automation testing
  • Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and QA best practices
  • Experience in automation tools: Selenium / Playwright / Opkey
  • Programming knowledge in Java / Python / JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Experience with test frameworks: TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Mocha/Jest
  • Good knowledge of SQL and data validation
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git
  • Exposure to IICS, API testing, and system integrations (SFDC, CPQ, ERP)
  • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT/Copilot) for testing optimization
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for Salesforce applications
  • Perform end-to-end manual testing: functional, regression, UI, exploratory, and cross-browser
  • Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, SPIFF logic, and integrations
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts (UI + API)
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and improve coverage & reliability
  • Use AI tools to generate test cases, optimize scripts, and accelerate defect analysis
  • Perform data validation and integration testing across systems (SFDC, CPQ, ERP)
  • Log, track, and manage defects using Jira/Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and provide release sign-off with QA metrics & risks
