Sr, ServiceNow developer (HAM & SAM )
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and ServiceNow Discovery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise asset and discovery processes, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency
Job Requirements
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications with a focus on HAM, SAM, and Discovery modules.
- Implement and maintain asset lifecycle workflows for hardware and software assets.
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery to ensure accurate population of the CMDB.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems such as procurement, inventory, and licensing platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Conduct unit testing, debugging, and documentation of developed solution
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Proven experience in:
- - Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
- - Software Asset Management (SAM)
- - ServiceNow Discovery
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and scoped application development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with CMDB, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
- ServiceNow certifications such as:
- - Certified Application Developer
- - HAM Specialist
- - SAM Specialist
- - Discovery Fundamentals
Good to Have:
• Knowledge of Discovery Patterns and their customization.
• Experience with Service Graph Connectors for data ingestion and normalization.
• Familiarity with Agent Client Collector (ACC) for enhanced discovery capabilities
