Tools & Automation Developer
Job Summary
The Tools & Automation Developer will assist the Office of the CIO (OCIO) in the development, creation, and optimization of NetApp Application Management System (NAMS), a homegrown tool used to manage financial information, people data, and other processes to enable various business activities in the OCIO. In addition to this role will also be responsible for optimization and automation of other OCIO business processes using the Microsoft Fabric Suite of tools including Power Automate, Forms and SharePoint.
Job Requirements
This developer will work on NAMS system and other automation tools, which WWIT uses for resource and financial tracking and reporting. Roles and responsibilities include:
• Manage and maintain integrations that source data from other NetApp systems.
• Develop new features and system enhancements based on Product Managers guidance.
• Maintain documentation on application code base. Updating documentation as new features are deployed.
• Steady state support to keep system up and running.
• Develop new integrations and process automations using Microsoft Fabric’s suite of tools• 8 years of hands-on experience in software application development
• Working knowledge in Java and J2EE frameworks
• Working knowledge in modern web technologies like Angular, Typescript is preferred
• Working knowledge in databases like Oracle Database/SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MongoDB
• Experience in DevOps and microservices would be a bonus.
• Good understanding of cloud technologies.
• Awareness of software development lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
• Microsoft Fabric Suite of Tools including Power Automate, Forms, and SharePoint
