Client Executive 2
Job Summary
As a Client Executive, you are a part of the German Global Account team and will drive sales strategy, customer growth, and executive engagement focusing on Volkswagen and Deutsche Telekom across EMEA outside of Germany. You will lead complex cross-border opportunities, align internal and external stakeholders, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while working closely with the Volkswagen and Deutsche Telekom account team in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account plans for Volkswagen and Deutsche Telekom across EMEA outside Germany to drive growth, retention, and strategic relevance.
- Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, business stakeholders, IT decision-makers, and partners.
- Identify, qualify, and manage complex opportunities across the full sales cycle.
- Lead virtual account teams across sales, pre-sales, consulting, partners, and leadership to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Manage parallel sales motions across countries and business units with strong prioritization and forecast discipline.
- Drive growth in automotive and telecommunications through cross-sell, up-sell, and transformation opportunities.
- Partner with global, regional, and Germany-based account teams to execute customer strategies consistently.
- Lead partner co-selling motions and strengthen the ecosystem supporting customer success.
Job Requirements
- Proven success managing strategic enterprise accounts and delivering growth in complex sales environments.
- Experience with large, matrixed customers, ideally in automotive, telecommunications, or related industries.
- Strong ability to build trusted relationships at C-level and senior management level.
- Expertise in account planning, opportunity management, negotiation, and closing complex deals.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across international, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills in multicultural environments.
- Good understanding of infrastructure, cloud, data, and platform technologies, with a strong business-value mindset.
- Industry knowledge of large enterprise structures in automotive and telecommunications is a plus.
- Fluency in English and local language (Spanish or German) is required. Additional language skills are considered as a plus.
- Multiple years of applicable experience in enterprise IT sales.
