Senior Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
Als Senior Solutions Engineer für den strategischen Kunden Deutsche Telekom bist du technischer Trusted Advisor für einen der wichtigsten Kunden von NetApp. Du verstehst die Geschäftsziele und technologischen Herausforderungen des Kunden und entwickelst innovative Lösungsstrategien rund um Hybrid Cloud, Datenmanagement, Cyber Resilienz, KI und Modernisierung kritischer IT-Plattformen.
Gemeinsam mit den Client Executives, dem Global Solutions Engineer und dem erweiterten Account Team gestaltest du die technische Strategie für Teilbereiche des Deutsche Telekom Konzerns. Dabei begleitest du Kunden von der ersten Idee über Architektur-Workshops und Proof-of-Concepts bis hin zur erfolgreichen Umsetzung komplexer Projekte.
Du agierst auf Augenhöhe mit technischen Entscheidern und Architekten, vertrittst NetApp bei Kundenveranstaltungen und übernimmst Verantwortung für die technische Entwicklung und Positionierung innerhalb des Accounts.
Deine Aufgaben
- Entwicklung und Umsetzung technischer Account-Strategien für Deutsche Telekom und verbundene Organisationen
- Identifikation neuer Geschäftspotenziale und aktives Vorantreiben technischer Opportunities
- Durchführung von Architektur-Workshops, Discovery-Sessions und Executive Briefings
- Beratung zu Themen wie:
- Hybrid Multi Cloud
- KI- und Data-Infrastructure
- Cyber Resilience
- Storage- und Datenmanagement
- Kubernetes und moderne Applikationsplattformen
- Business Continuity und Hochverfügbarkeit
- Erstellung von Lösungskonzepten, Referenzarchitekturen und technischen Angeboten
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Kundenarchitekten, Betriebsverantwortlichen und technischen Entscheidern
- Steuerung technischer Ressourcen innerhalb komplexer Verkaufszyklen
- Begleitung von Proof-of-Concepts, technischen Evaluierungen und Ausschreibungen
- Repräsentation von NetApp auf Kundenveranstaltungen, Workshops und Branchenveranstaltungen
- Unterstützung bei der langfristigen technologischen Positionierung von NetApp im Telekom-Umfeld
Das bringst du mit
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Solutions Engineer, Systems Engineer, Solution Architect oder vergleichbare Funktion im (large) Enterprise- oder Service-Provider-Umfeld
- Fundiertes Wissen in mindestens mehreren der folgenden Bereiche:
- Hybrid Cloud und Public Cloud
- Enterprise Storage
- Datenmanagement
- Backup und Recovery
- Cyber Security und Cyber Resilience
- Virtualisierung
- Kubernetes und Container-Technologien
- Automation und DevOps
- KI-Infrastrukturen und Data Pipelines
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit komplexen Enterprise-Kunden
- Fähigkeit, technische und geschäftliche Anforderungen in überzeugende Lösungsansätze zu übersetzen
- Erfahrung mit Ausschreibungen, Architekturkonzepten und strategischer Kundenberatung
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten
- Fähigkeit, Beziehungen zu technischen und nicht-technischen Stakeholdern aufzubauen
- Hohe Eigeninitiative und Ownership-Mentalität
- Strategisches Denken und analytische Vorgehensweise
- Teamorientierung und Freude an bereichsübergreifender Zusammenarbeit
- Souveränes Auftreten auch in anspruchsvollen Kundensituationen
- Ausdauer und Lust, strategisch zu arbeiten
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
