Associate Client Executive 2
Job Summary
As an Associate Client Executive (m/f/d) in our Corporate/Commercial segment, you drive sales across a set of Commercial (“Mittelstands”) accounts in the Hamburg territory to achieve assigned revenue goals. This is a predominantly new business (“LAND”) role with a strong focus on hunting, requiring proactive prospecting, cold outreach and consistent pipeline generation. You expand existing customer relationships and acquire new customers and workloads, using proactive outreach and cold calling to create and qualify pipeline in a high‑pace environment. Working closely with more tenured Client Executives, the virtual account team, and our partner/distributor ecosystem, you build trusted relationships and progress opportunities end‑to‑end across NetApp’s hybrid and cloud solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive territory and account execution across a defined list of Commercial (“Mittelstands”) accounts to meet assigned revenue goals.
- Generate and qualify pipeline through proactive prospecting, including cold calling, targeted outreach, account mapping, and follow‑up cadences.
- Build and progress opportunities with senior Client Executives, Solution Engineers and the virtual account team; align on next steps, close plans and customer outcomes.
- Expand existing business by identifying growth opportunities and increasing adoption across additional use cases and workloads (renewals/expansions where applicable).
- Co-sell with NetApp’s route‑to‑market ecosystem (Channel Partners, GSIs, Distribution) and follow up campaign/event leads to convert demand into pipeline.
- Maintain strong sales discipline: CRM hygiene, accurate opportunity data, forecast inputs, and structured deal reviews.
Job Requirements
- Ambition to deliver results; comfortable with proactive prospecting (including cold calling), outreach and pipeline generation.
- Strong motivation for new business acquisition (“hunting”) and building pipeline from scratch.
- Team-based selling mindset; able to work independently and proactively seek feedback and support.
- Clear communication skills and ability to capture customer needs and next steps in a simple, structured way.Interest in hybrid/cloud infrastructure and willingness to deepen technical knowledge quickly.
- Based in/around Hamburg with ability to travel regularly to customers and partners.
- Relevant experience in sales, business development, inside sales, or a customer‑facing role (technology experience is a plus).
- Fluent German and English (C1); experience with enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, or channel sales is a plus.
