Job Summary
The Distribution Sales Manager will own and drive the country's channel strategy, playing a pivotal role in engaging, motivating, and growing our partners' business within NetApp Indonesia. This individual will be responsible for accelerating sales of NetApp's products and services, achieving sales targets, and cultivating a strong partner preference for NetApp through strategic leadership and disciplined execution.
Job Requirements
Strategy & Planning: Develop and maintain a multi-year sales strategy and business plan, designing structured activity plans with distributors to build robust pipeline generation frameworks that ensure consistent and predictable quarterly revenue. Plan, execute, and track tactical activities that support bookings growth while driving forecast accuracy and overall partner health.
Partner Engagement & Collaboration: Manage executive-level engagement between partners and the relevant NetApp sales organization, collaborating with the Commercial team (CTR/CAM) and enterprise account teams to co-create and execute targeted pursuit strategies. Influence and strengthen partner preference for NetApp, increasing market penetration and Share of Wallet.
Partner Enablement & Development: Orchestrate comprehensive enablement programs for partner sales and technical teams, aligned with Program requirements and Solutions GTM strategies. Support partners in developing specialized services practices and competencies, equipping them with the right tools and readiness to confidently sell solutions and services. Activate and lead company initiatives, programs, and incentive headcount resources across partner organizations.
Installed Base Growth: Implement continuous Installed Base expansion and retention strategies to maximize long-term value and sustain revenue growth.
Education
Experience & Knowledge: The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 8 years of experience working with Channel, Alliance, or ISV partners, with a strong foundation in storage, infrastructure, and Cloud technologies. They possess a well-established network and solid understanding of the broader industry ecosystem, including partners and the competitive landscape.
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate and engage effectively across multiple levels within partner organizations, with strong executive presence and proven conflict resolution skills. Adept at negotiating complex situations to achieve positive outcomes while preserving a healthy ecosystem of internal and external relationships.
Collaboration & Strategic Thinking: A strong collaborator who works seamlessly across cross-functional and matrixed teams, aligning diverse stakeholders toward shared goals. Skilled at building and leveraging an external network to support and advance business objectives.
