Logistics Analyst 3
Job Summary
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing third party logistics (3PL) distribution center operations across two key locations: Laredo, Texas and Guadalajara, Mexico. This role supports day to day activities and ensures operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and process adherence to support NetApp’s product fulfillment strategy.
The ideal candidate is an independent, detail-oriented and self motivated logistics professional, fluent in English and Spanish, experienced in 3PL management, and capable of operating with limited supervision in a fast paced technology environment with capability to travel to Laredo, TX.
Essential Functions
Operational Oversight
- Support daily operations at both Guadalajara and Laredo 3PL sites, with the role based onsite in Guadalajara and periodic travel to Laredo as needed.
- Act as the primary liaison between NetApp and 3PL leadership teams to ensure compliance with operational priorities and routine updates, KPIs, SLAs, and customer requirements.
- Monitor outbound order processing, inbound receipts, shipping documentation, and transportation performance.
- Review and resolve inbound exceptions, shipping delays, and order fulfillment obstacles.
- Conduct routine operational audits to verify adherence to NetApp processes, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Participate in review of shipping delays, inbound discrepancies, and order fulfillment issues.
Inventory & Data Management
- Oversee execution of accurate international shipping documentation including proforma invoices, commercial invoices, compliance documents, labeling, and packaging requirements.
o Support analysis of inventory reports, cycle count results, and discrepancies.
o Review standard shipping documents (commercial invoices, labels, packaging requirements) for accuracy.
- Analyze operational and inventory reports to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain logistics dashboards, performance metrics, and KPIs for regular reporting to leadership.
- Perform data validation and system checks in ERP platforms (Oracle Cloud) with guidance.
Process Improvement & Cross Functional Support
- Identify gaps in fulfillment processes, propose corrective actions, and collaborate with 3PLs to implement solutions.
- Support global logistics, supply chain, transportation, and order fulfillment teams in resolving escalations.
- Manage onsite audits, operational walkthroughs, and quality reviews.
- Work with 3PL to maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and compliance documentation.
- Support system navigation and data validation within ERP systems (Oracle Cloud).
Job Requirements
- Five (5) or more years of experience in logistics, 3PL warehouse management, distribution operations, or supply chain.
- Experience managing or supporting two or more distribution center locations preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to identify operational issues and proactively develop solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Experience with transportation modes (LTL, FTL, parcel, air freight) and cross border logistics.
- Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners across multiple geographies.

- Applies advanced operational knowledge to resolve complex issues and prevent future occurrences.
- Makes decisions that can significantly impact operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial outcomes.

- Works closely with logistics, supply chain, order fulfillment, and transportation teams.
- Engages with 3PL operators, warehouse supervisors, and transportation carriers.
- Operates with minimal supervision, using independent judgment to prioritize tasks and drive results.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or other enterprise resource planning systems.
- Prior experience in a technology, high volume distribution, or global supply chain environment preferred.
