Client Executive 2
Job Summary
As a Client Executive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding NetApp’s presence in the Italian market. This role is ideal for a hunter-minded sales professional who thrives on new business acquisition, builds trusted relationships with customers, and is motivated by ownership and impact.
The Client Executive is responsible for driving new business and revenue growth across a defined set of Commercial accounts in Italy, with exposure to both Public and Private sector customers. You will own the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through close, acting as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders.
You will lead account strategy, collaborate closely with partners and cross‑functional NetApp teams, and navigate complex sales environments with determination and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the Commercial segment
- Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans to drive pipeline growth and revenue
- Engage with C‑level executives and key decision-makers, positioning NetApp as a long-term strategic partner
- Lead and coordinate internal teams (presales, partners, and specialists) to deliver value‑driven solutions
- Collaborate closely with the NetApp partner ecosystem to maximize market coverage and impact
- Manage complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles with strong ownership and accountability
- Accurately forecast pipeline and provide regular updates on opportunities and customer activity
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B technology sales, ideally within IT infrastructure, cloud, or data solutions
- Demonstrated exposure to both Public and Private sector customers
- Strong hunter mentality with a track record of identifying and winning new business
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Based in Milan, or willing to relocate
