Business Process Analyst 4

Job ID 133749 Date posted 03/27/2026 Location Morrisville, NC

Job Summary

As a Process Analyst (IC4) in NetApp’s GTM RevOps Business Technology Operations (BTO) organization, you will play a critical role in shaping how the business operates at scale. You will design, analyze, and improve GTM business workflows by translating complex business needs into clear requirements and future‑state process designs that span multiple systems and teams.

Your work will directly reduce operational friction, eliminate manual effort, and enable teams across NetApp to execute more efficiently and consistently. By owning the quality and clarity of analysis and process design, and partnering closely with Process Owners, Business Application Owners, and Systems Operations teams, you will help turn strategy into execution—building scalable, repeatable workflows that power reliable growth and improve day‑to‑day experiences for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Document current‑state GTM processes and workflows with sufficient depth and clarity to expose inefficiencies, enable shared understanding across teams, and serve as a reliable foundation for future‑state design.
  • Identify process gaps, pain points, and root causes through structured analysis, with success measured by the team’s ability to address recurring issues through durable design solutions rather than repeated manual intervention.
  • Design future‑state processes and workflow improvements that demonstrably reduce manual work, simplify execution, and enable scalable, repeatable operations across regions, teams, and systems.
  • Translate business needs into clear, complete, and actionable requirements and user stories, ensuring solution teams can deliver effectively with minimal rework or ambiguity.
  • Support UAT, validation, and post‑release feedback loops, contributing to high adoption and ensuring delivered solutions meet documented requirements and process intent.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and recurring issue resolution by designing process fixes that reduce operational noise and prevent repeat incidents over time.
  • Identify and recommend automation and AI opportunities within workflows, with success measured by reduced manual touchpoints and increased process efficiency rather than tool adoption alone.
  • Execute analysis and design responsibilities with a clear understanding of scope, supporting prioritization and outcomes without owning final decisions, platform roadmaps, system configuration, or operational support queues.
  • Partner with Process Owners in BTO to validate process designs, ensuring proposed solutions align to intended business outcomes while maintaining clarity of ownership and decision rights.
  • Collaborate with Business Application Owners in BTO to shape solution designs that are feasible within platform constraints, with success reflected in solutions that are implemented as designed and deliver the intended process improvements.
  • Work closely with IT and Systems teams during deployment and release execution, enabling smooth handoffs through strong upstream analysis and well‑defined requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Experience in process analysis, business analysis, or workflow design within GTM, RevOps, Sales Ops, or adjacent domains
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into structured requirements and process designs
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with business, IT, and systems teams
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on root cause identification and solution quality

Preferred:

  • Experience working across multiple enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, CPQ, Order Management, Planning, Forecasting)
  • Familiarity with automation and AIenabled process improvements
  • Experience supporting UAT and postrelease validation
