This role is responsible for architecting breakout programs that are consistent, impactful, and aligned with NetApp’s strategic priorities, product launches, and audience needs.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic consulting, program leadership, and curriculum design expertise, with a proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive cross-functional outcomes. This role may also include oversight of contract or alternate workforce personnel in support of breakout program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Alignment

  • Partner with executive stakeholders, product leaders, and event owners to define breakout session strategy, themes, and learning objectives aligned to business goals.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to cross-functional teams on content design, audience engagement, and curriculum impact.

Program Management & Execution

  • Lead the call-for-papers (CFP) process, including topic curation, content review, speaker selection, and session mapping.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation across breakout tracks and formats.

Speaker Enablement & Content Quality

  • Develop speaker enablement frameworks, including coaching, templates, and feedback loops to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Facilitate executive-level speaker preparation and alignment with messaging priorities.

Operational Coordination

  • Collaborate with production, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution across in-person, hybrid, and virtual formats.
  • Oversee logistics and support teams, including contract personnel, to ensure delivery excellence.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze breakout session performance, audience feedback, and engagement metrics to inform future strategy.
  • Identify and implement innovations in session design, interactivity, and attendee experience.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Learning Design, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8–10 years of experience in curriculum strategy, event content development, or program management in enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale, multi-track programs with executive visibility.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with event content platforms and collaboration tools (e.g., Cvent, Seismic, Teams, Zoom).

Work Environment

  • May require occasional travel for live events.
  • Flexibility to support global time zones during event periods.
  • Comfortable managing programs across in-person, hybrid, and virtual formats.

Role Impact

The Senior Curriculum Manager ensures breakout programs deliver high-impact, strategically aligned content experiences that reflect NetApp’s brand, accelerate product adoption, and drive engagement across global audiences. This role is a key contributor to NetApp’s event success and thought leadership positioning.
