Hardware Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and motivated Hardware Engineer with a Master's degree to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of core server technologies. You will have the chance to learn and design high-performance computers using technologies such as: NVMe, PCIe, DDR, and X86. As a recent graduate, you will be involved in the design, development, and optimization of hardware components, with a focus on achieving Energy Star certification for our products as a first assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware Design and Development: Assist in the design, development, and optimization of server hardware components, focusing on performance and reliability.
- Core Technologies Application: Apply knowledge of NVMe, PCIe, DDR, and X86 architectures to support the development of high-performance server and storage solutions.
- Energy Efficiency: Participate in initiatives to improve energy efficiency and contribute to the process of obtaining Energy Star certification for our products.
- Testing and Validation: Support the testing and validation of hardware components to ensure they meet industry standards and company quality benchmarks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance, to deliver integrated hardware-software solutions.
- Documentation: Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of hardware designs, test procedures, and compliance reports.
- Learning and Development: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Job Requirements
Knowledge:
- Understanding of NVMe, PCIe, DDR, and X86 architectures.
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency standards and Energy Star certification processes is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or project experience related to server technologies and storage solutions.
- Familiarity with hardware simulation and modeling tools.
- Enthusiasm for energy efficiency and sustainable technology practices.
Education & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years related experience or a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 102,000 - 151,800 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
