Consulting Solutions Architect
Job Summary
As an AI Solutions Architect for the APAC Geo at NetApp, you will work closely with Sales Specialists, Partner Managers, Technical Leaders and Sales Teams to drive sales execution and business growth for AI solutions and technologies. Your passion for technology, strategic thinking, and expertise in Artificial Intelligence will be essential to success. You already have an in-depth understanding of AI market trends, key industry best practices, and the technology landscape. Using your background and experience, you will work with your peers and leadership to develop and execute a strategy to evangelise NetApp, train and enable field sellers, work closely with Go-To-Market partners and participate, where required, in direct sales campaigns. A technical background in infrastructure, database technologies and software coding, is essential.
Job Description
The AI Solutions Architect is a domain expert; the role holder will work closely with cross-functional team members to achieve revenue and growth targets for the APJ&I Geo.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Technical, Sales, Partner and Marketing teams to evangelise AI solutions and technologies.
- Act as the go-to person for all technical and AI, ML, Data Analytics and HPC workloads
- Work closely with WW leadership to ensure that AI sales plays are adjusted and aligned to local market needs
- Act as a key liaison between sales teams and global headquarters, providing insights and feedback to help refine corporate strategies
- Where required, participate in direct sales opportunities including qualification of requirements, solutions design, proof-of-concept testing, and competitive analysis
- Define & guide technical teams regarding technical/solution design
- Collaborate with Partner and Alliance teams to drive end-to-end solution designs for our customers and prospects
- In-depth knowledge of Artificial Intelligence concepts including server/storage architecture, batch/stream processing, data warehousing, data lakes, distributed filesystems, OLTP/OLAP databases and data pipelining tools
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated and led technical workstreams; experience as a Solutions Architect, customer-facing technical role in AI, cloud, data platform or infrastructure space
- Strong fluency and enthusiasm for technology and ability to stay current with industry trends, tools and ecosystem
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
- Collaborative team player, strategic thinker, excellent business acumen and creative problem solver
