Senior Client Executive
Job Summary
As a Senior Client Executive (CE) in NetApp’s Strategic Enterprise business, you will lead sales activities within a set of strategic accounts to achieve assigned sales quotas. You will drive the collaboration and coordination of all sales and pre-sales roles associated with the accounts to develop and grow NetApp's business in your assigned accounts. Working alongside NetApp’s Partner and Distributor ecosystem, the Senior CE serves as an advisor to customers and leverages business acumen and technical team expertise to maximize revenue from the accounts.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop selling opportunities within existing and new accounts, including partner accounts, to expand the depth and quality of relationships with buyers and purchasing influencers.
- Collaborate with assigned Solution Engineers to develop a long-term product strategy for new and existing NetApp product lines within your territory.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, including pipeline generation, qualification, solution design, pricing and quoting, and deal/contract negotiation across NetApp’s hybrid-cloud and cloud solutions.
- Act as a sales orchestrator, bringing in the right experts at the right place and time.
- Oversee multiple concurrent sales motions (some owned by specialist sellers or other sales roles) to ensure a customer-centric approach.
- Gain customer trust and be the go-to advisor by studying customer needs and proposing relevant NetApp solutions. Leverage existing relationships to seek out new buying centers and opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 12+ years in direct sales with a consistent track record of exceeding quotas and driving net new business.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Deep knowledge of customer goals and the ability to demonstrate value to clients.
- Highly organized and disciplined with the ability to coordinate and lead multiple concurrent selling efforts by NetApp sales specialists and partners.
- Ability to speak credibly on a variety of modern computing, storage, and cloud technologies/concepts.
