Senior Client Executive
Job Summary
At NetApp, we believe data is the currency of innovation. Within our Strategics Sales Organization, we partner with the world’s most influential enterprises to power how digital content is created, distributed, secured, and monetized at global scale.
We are seeking a Sr. Client Executive to support one of NetApp’s most complex and visible Media & Entertainment relationships. This role is intended for a senior seller who thrives in fast‑moving environments, excels at day‑to‑day deal execution, and partners tightly with a Global Client Executive to drive a step‑change in growth, momentum, and customer engagement.

Your Impact
As a Client Executive, you will be responsible for driving day‑to‑day sales execution across a large, highly matrixed Media & Entertainment enterprise. You will work in close partnership with the Global Client Executive, translating the broader account strategy into active pursuits, pipeline creation, and closed business.
You will own opportunity progression, quarterback deals from discovery through close, and ensure NetApp is consistently positioned with relevance, urgency, and credibility across active buying centers.

- Coordinate closely with engineering, services, partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, competitive proposals.
- Build and maintain a strong, accurate pipeline with clear qualification, next steps, and forecasting discipline.
- Identify whitespace, under‑penetrated areas, and adjacent opportunities that align to strategic growth vectors.
- Maintain a rigorous operating cadence around opportunity reviews, deal strategy, and execution accountability.
- Model NetApp’s values of ownership, growth mindset, customer centricity, belonging, and high performance, especially in high‑pressure situations.

- 12 years in a direct sales role
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Proven success closing large, complex enterprise transactions in matrixed environments.
- Demonstrated ability to run multiple concurrent pursuits with discipline and urgency.
- Strong understanding of Media & Entertainment workflows and technology domains, including content production, streaming, broadcast, platforms, and analytics.
- Ability to partner effectively with senior account leaders while maintaining clear ownership of execution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and adjusting quickly as priorities shift.
- A growth mindset with resilience, curiosity, and a bias for action.
- Working knowledge of cloud, data infrastructure, or enterprise technology solutions.
