Job Summary
The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for owning and executing NetApp’s channel strategy across Eastern Europe and Turkey. In this role, you will engage, develop, and grow our partner ecosystem, driving adoption of NetApp solutions and services while ensuring consistent revenue performance. You will strengthen partner preference for NetApp through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and deep collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Planning
- Build and maintain a multi‑year regional channel strategy and business plan.
- Design structured activity plans with distributors to drive predictable pipeline generation and quarterly revenue performance.
- Execute and track tactical initiatives that support bookings growth, forecast accuracy, and overall partner health.
Partner Engagement & Collaboration
- Lead executive‑level engagement between partners and the NetApp sales organization.
- Co‑create targeted pursuit strategies with Sales teams to expand market penetration and increase Share of Wallet.
- Influence partner preference for NetApp by positioning our value, competitive differentiation, and long‑term business impact.
Partner Enablement & Development
- Orchestrate comprehensive enablement programs for partner sales and technical teams, aligned with program requirements and Solutions GTM motions.
- Support partners in building specialized services practices and competencies, ensuring they are fully equipped to sell and deliver NetApp solutions.
- Activate and manage company initiatives, incentive programs, and dedicated partner resources across the ecosystem.
Installed Base Growth
- Drive continuous expansion and retention strategies within the Installed Base to maximize long‑term customer value and recurring revenue.
Job Requirements
Experience & Technical Knowledge
- Minimum 8 years of experience working with Channel, Alliance, or ISV partners.
- Strong background in storage, infrastructure, and Cloud technologies.
- Well‑established network and deep understanding of the regional partner landscape and competitive environment.
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate, influence, and engage across all levels of partner organizations.
- Proven conflict‑resolution and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations while maintaining healthy relationships.
Collaboration & Strategic Thinking
- Demonstrated success working in cross‑functional, matrixed environments.
- Ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared goals and leverage external networks to advance business objectives.
Language & Location Requirements
- Fluent in English.
- Native‑level proficiency in at least one Eastern European language or Turkish.
- Must be based in Vienna.
