Job Summary

The Solutions Engineering Manager for NetApp’s UKI Enterprise team leads a high‑performing group of Solutions Engineers supporting key Enterprise customers while partnering closely with Enterprise Sales Leaders to ensure strong alignment between sales strategy and technical execution. This role drives solution development, strengthens relationships across sales, product, engineering, and technical leadership, and represents the technical voice of the UKI Enterprise in customer and partner engagements. It is responsible for defining and executing the UKI technical strategy, influencing key deals and roadmaps, and fostering a culture of enablement where the team is equipped with the tools, content, and training needed to deliver exceptional technical outcomes and promote NetApp’s hybrid cloud, storage, and data management solutions.

Job Requirements

  • 12+ years in pre‑sales, technical sales, or solution architecture within enterprise technology.
  • 6+ years of people‑leadership experience building and developing high‑performing technical teams.
  • Demonstrated success in forecast accuracy, pipeline discipline, and quota alignment with sales leadership.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales Operations, HR, Finance, and Talent Acquisition on organisational planning.
  • Deep understanding of data infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise IT architectures (NetApp experience a plus).
  • Experience influencing vendor and hyperscaler roadmaps through customer and partner engagement.

  • Strong collaborator with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, HR, Finance, and TA.
  • Effective at driving operational alignment through forecasting, pipeline visibility, and technical readiness.
  • Passionate about structure, growth, organisational alignment, and proactive talent planning.
